LIVE WEDDING PAINTING · MINNEAPOLIS
PAINT THE DAY.
An original oil painting begins inside the celebration, among the people you love. The setting, movement, and light of the day guide what it becomes.
THE PROCESS
- 01
Before
We establish the scene, composition, people, and artistic direction together before the wedding.
- 02
During
The painting begins on site as the celebration unfolds in and around it.
- 03
After
I refine the work in the studio, then prepare it for delivery.
THE ARTIST
NICHOLAS KONTZ
I am a Minneapolis-based painter and the artist behind Avellisa. I earned a BFA in Studio Art from the University of Minnesota, where I also studied art history. Painting remains at the center of my life, and it would be a privilege to create one in celebration of yours.
